Chapter Thirteen: Checkmate

The battle rages on but the Heroes and the Herald are in the eye of the storm, as they prepare for what they know to be the final confrontation. Three heroes: The Voice, Rockface and Stormmind. One enemy: The Herald, with all the power bestowed on him by the Pineapple.

Expect a multi-phased encounter where the Herald will change form numerous times. Rockface will be the meat-shield, taking the brunt of his assault while dishing out heavy melee damage.

Meanwhile, The Voice will use her magic assets to hinder and damage the enemy while the voices given to him by the Silent Ones sing songs of vigor and restoration to keep Rockface on his feet. Stormmind will be employing trickery and cunning, combined with a limited range of offensive magic into devastating gambit combos to catch his enemy off-guard.

After a lengthy combat, which probably involved several loads and retrys by the Heroes and, again, a tortoise, plus Rockface mysteriously wearing a skirt, the Heroes finally emerge victorious. However, the victory celebration has barely started when something blocks out the sun. The Heroes look to the skies and see several spaceships forming up.
